Super F League Rebrands itself as US Youth Futsal
Our good friends down in the US have rebranded with a more modern name and sleek look.
Super F League, the fastest growing futsal organization in the country, enters new era by launching new identity for affiliate leagues, teams and players nationwide. Name changed to US Youth Futsal but the mission is the same; to develop and expand the game of futsal in the United States.
US Youth Futsal was unveiled today as the new name and look of the Super F League, continuing the organization’s commitment to growing the game of futsal across the United States.
“The initiative has always been to develop youth futsal throughout the United States so it is only appropriate to adopt a name that best reflects that mission and our expanding role in the process,” said John Sciore, Director of Development.
US Youth Futsal, is the official national futsal organization affiliated with the United States Soccer Federation. The goal for US Youth Futsal is to developing organized futsal opportunities for amateur players in cities across the country. With more than 1,500 teams competing in its 40 leagues located in over 25 states, including top cities like Boston, Cleveland, Kansas City, South Jersey and St. Louis, US Youth Futsal is the fastest growing futsal organization in the U.S..
Players and coaches with US Youth Futsal are registered through the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), the largest multi-sport sanctioning body in the United States.
“We started back in 1997 as the Kansas City Futsal League with five teams and here we are 14 years later having grown into the leading futsal supporter in the U.S. with a presence in 35 cities and counting,” Jon Parry, Executive Director, said. “Introducing US Youth Futsal as the new brand represents the rapid growth of not just our organization, but also the game of futsal in this country.”
US Youth Futsal’s leadership team consists of Jon Parry, Peter Vermes and John Sciore, who together contribute decades of experience at the highest levels of the sport.
US Youth Futsal will continue to host the Champions Cup – National Futsal Tournament, held annually since 2005. The 6th Champions Cup – National Futsal Tournament was held at three different facilities in Shawnee, Kansas in February 2011 with more than 90 boys and girls teams participating in the U9 thru high school age groups.
