Spain Win UEFA U19 Euro Futsal Championship
The future of Spain’s futsal program shows no slowing down as they were victorious in the inaugural UEFA Under-19 Futsal Euro tournament with a dominant 6-1 victory over Croatia.
Riga, Latvia was the site of the historic win as Spain went undefeated throughout the competition with wins over the Netherlands, Ukraine, Croatia in the group stage before beating Poland in an entertaining semi-final clash.
The competition is another progressive initiative by UEFA that sees the confederation further developing their futsal offerings including the expansion of their senior Futsal Euro competition as well as a women’s continental futsal competition.
