Shriker Osaka take All-Japan Futsal title

Shriker Osaka won the PUMA Cup All-Japan Futsal Championship after beating Shonan Bellmare 4-0 in the final at Yoyogi Gymnasium in Tokyo on Sunday.
Shriker, who finished third in the recently completed F. League, opened the scoring through Tetsuya Murakami in the 15th minute and widened the lead in the 33rd minute with Yoshifumi Nagai’s strike.
Brazilian goalkeeper Igor made it 3-0 three minutes later, before compatriot Duda added another goal in the 38th minute.
The Osaka team had won Group C with three straight wins and went on to beat Espolada Hokkaido 3-2 in the quarterfinals and Deucao Kobe in the semifinals.
Shonan topped Group B, beat Bardral Urayasu 3-2 in the quarterfinals and downed Fuchu Athletic 3-1 in the semifinals.
Nagoya Oceans did not take part in the annual competition due to their participation in the AFC Asian Club Futsal Championship, where they finished third.
