Prince George will host 2010 BC Futsal Championships

The Prince George Youth Soccer Association will be hosting the 5th edition of the BC Futsal Championships, taking place over the January 9-10th weekend at the College for New Caledonia.
Registration is now open to teams for the U14 and U16 divisions (girls and boys) and is limited to 8 teams per division. The format features 2 groups of 4 battling it out on the court with the top in each group moving on to the semi-finals on Sunday. The cost of entering is a reasonable $295 and the form is available on the bcsoccer.net website at
The winning teams from the U16 divisions will receive an invitation to compete in the Toronto Invitational Futsal Tournament, an invitation only event for championship futsal teams in North America that is taking place 2 weeks after the provincial event.
