New Youth Leagues Starting in Ontario

Do you or your team want to start playing futsal? Well if you live Ontario, here is your chance.

Starting this January, 4 new youth futsal leagues in Ontario will start to offer youth futsal training programs and leagues. Here is a brief overview of some of the exciting futsal programs that you can become involved with.

London Canadian Futsal League:  The LCFL is the only sanctioned futsal league in the London area and is registered with the Elgin-Middlesex SA. The LCFL is a starting their youth divisions with a U9/10 program and will follow with divisions from U11 through U17’s. Players 18+ can join one of the adult divisions which will be offered for men and women. Pending interest, a masters league for players 30+ will also be offered.

The LCFL currently is running a U11/12 division along with boys U15 and U17 leagues. London will be represented with 4 teams at the upcoming Toronto Invitational Futsal Tournament and should do very weel considering the rich futsal talent and history the region has produced for the last decade.

Team Registration Prices: 

U9/10’s: $650
U11-U17’s: $750
Mens/Womens: $900
Masters: $900

Toronto Futsal League: The Toronto Futsal League is excited to to announce that it will start its youth futsal programs starting January 30th through every Saturday from 10am-6pm for 10 weeks at the spacious double-gym at Earl Haig SS in the Yonge and 401 area. We will be offering futsal specific training sessions for U6-U10’s with a few exhibition games. The focus for the youth is technical development, fun, team unity, and building confidence.

An 8 game league will be operated for U11-U17’s after 2 futsal training sessions for each team. These will be conducted by with top players from the Mens division. If enough teams are interested in other divisions we will certainly do our best to accomodate them. The gym is in a great, central location and has excellent hardwood for futsal. Please feel free to contact us via email, phone, or in person if you have any questions regarding the youth program and feel free to pass the information along to anyone you believe may be interested.

U6-U10’s: $600

Futsal Sudbury: The top futsal league in Northern Ontario is looking for teams to play in their U11 girls and U9-10 boys divisions. Games will be Thursday evenings and Saturday/Sundays. Futsal Sudbury has some of the best futsal gyms in Ontario and the emphasis is on learning the game and enhancing development.
