The Sasktel Centre crowd brought the noise throughout the final with each team trading goals until Poland led Brazil by a 5-3 margin. Brazil the made the necessary adjustments to late in the second half to even the score. Extra time solved nothing and in PK’s it was the Polish side emerging victorious.

The red and white eagles went undefeated in the tournament having defeated Chile 4-1, England 7-4, and First Nations, 8-2 during the group stage.

After a 4-4 draw in regulation time, the bronze medal also went to PK’s with Chile edging out a tough Ukrainian side.
