LCFL Announces 2010 Challenege Cup Competition

The London Canadian Futsal League has announced that it will be hosting their 2010 Challenge Cup over the March 27-28th weekend. The competition will be played on high quality hardwood futsal courts and and already have teams confirmed from both the LCFL and the Toronto Futsal League. This will be the first FIFA rules tournament in the London region in quite some time and promises to be an annual event as the sport grows tremendously in the region.

Registration is quite affordable at only $150 for affiliated youth teams and $200 for non-affiliated youth teams. Mens entries are also affordable with a $200 entry fee for affiliated teams and $250 for those not affiliated. There is a $500 cash prize along with trophies and medals to be won in that division.

Each team is guaranteed 3 games of 2 x 15 halves. Divisions are available at U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, Mens and Masters (35+). There will be a minimum of 4 teams per division. There are also 10 players allowed per team and the registration deadline is Sunday March 7th.
