The first national futsal team camp for the 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup cycle has been announced. Where will it be held and which players will try to secure one of the 14 roster spots?

Montreal will be the base for the four-day camp that runs from October 31st-November 3rd. 25 players have been selected which eventually will be whittled down to 14 players that will compete at CONCACAF Qualifying in the spring of 2020.

Two time defending national club champions Toronto Idolo have the most layers represented with a total of five players while elite Québec club Spartiates Sports Club and arena soccer club Milwaukee Wave each have four players represented.

10 players from the 2016 team that competed at CONCACAF have been named to the camp including goalkeepers Joshua Lemos and David Campusano. Veterans Ian Bennett and Daniel Chamale will look to make their third consecutive cycle along with Lemos.

CONCACAF hasn't officially released the dates and format for 2020 World Cup qualifying though the FIFA Futsal World Cup will take place in Lithuania from September 12th-October 4th. CONCACAF has four World Cup spots available.
