The Cleveland Super F League has been named host of the Great Lakes Regional Championships, a qualifying tournament to the Super F League’s National Championship and are calling all Canadian teams.

The tournament is happening over the January 2-3rd long weekend with age groups being offered from the U8’s all the way through to adults, even masters divisions.

With Cleveland being on the south shore of Lake Erie, it is only about a 2.5 hour drive from Windsor and 4.5 hours from both London and Toronto, making it very accessible at a relatively low-cost. The Super F League group has worked closely with FutsalCanada.ca over the last year to further the sport across the continent, particularly across bordering states/provinces.

We encourage all teams from Ontario to participate as the competition level is quite healthy, Cleveland based teams won 2 national championships last season, and many other teams including Pittsburgh, Louisville, Michigan, Ohio will be represented at the tournament. The tournament organizors are former US National Futsal Team players and have participated at past CONCACAF and FIFA Futsal Championships.

The entry cost is $350 US and includes 3 full 48 minute games with 2 US Soccer futsal certified referees at every match. The top two teams from each division will automatically qualify for a spot in the Super F National Championships that will be taking place in Kansas in February. The Toronto Impact, formerly names Cruz Azul, won the mens national championship last year.
