Futsal Open House Saturday and Sunday in Toronto

The Toronto Futsal LEague, in conjunction with the Ontario Futsal Association will be hosting a Futsal Open House event this Saturday and Sunday (Oct 1-2nd) afternoon from 2-4pm where clubs, players, and parents can participate in a series of interactive futsal events.

Even if you are already set for indoor this season you owe it to yourself and your team to come check out what futsal is all about and why it is the promising future of indoor soccer here in Canada. Being held at West Humber Collegiate (1675 Martingrove Road) in Western Toronto, which is 10 minutes south of the OSA Centre, the CSA National ID Camp for Ontario will be taking place throughout the weekend and in between breaks will be the Futsal Open House where on court futsal demonstrations will be interactive and informative, led by players that have represented Canada in international competitions and some of the best futsal coaches and referees in the province.

Registration for the upcoming Toronto Futsal League Fall/Winter Season will also be taken, with the early bird registration deadline ending on October 2nd. For more information check out the Toronto Futsal League website at www.torontofutsal.ca

If you want a glimpse of the potential players who may represent Canada at the 2012 CONCACAF Futsal Championshipsthe league is allowing short viewings at 1:45pm on Saturday and Sunday and also at 4pm on Saturday for 15 minute spans.
