Futsal Canada Presents Free Referee Webinar with World Class FIFA Futsal Referees

As part of our on-going futsal education programs Futsal Canada is pleased to announce that this Saturday June 18th we will be presenting our first online Futsal Referee Series with a free webinar on Zoom with special guests and world renowned officials, Marc Birkett and Peter Nurse.

Marc is widely considered one of the world’s elite futsal referees, having been on the FIFA list for well over a decade. He was selected to officiate the 2019 UEFA Futsal Champions League, four UEFA European Championships, and the 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup Final between Brazil and Spain.

Peter is also one of Europe’s most promising referees having officiated in this season’s UEFA Futsal Champions League as well as the UEFA U19 Championships.

Both Peter and Marc will speak about their respective journey to becoming world class referees. They will also share their insights on the recent amendments made by FIFA to the Futsal Laws of the Game in addition to taking questions from those participating.
