Futsal Canada Elite Referee Webinar #2 This Sunday September 20th

After a very successful FIFA Futsal referee webinar in July, Futsal Canada is proud to present its second elite futsal referee webinar with two very special guests on Sunday September 20th at 1pm EST (10am PT).

The stars of the show this time will be FIFA Futsal Referee Instructor Shane Butler and former FIFA Futsal Referee, Sergio Cabrera.

Shane hails from St. Louis and is quite familiar with Futsal Canada and our referees, having officiated at the 2010 Toronto International Tournament, Canada’s first major futsal club tournament, as well as the 2015 Futsal Canada Cup.

Cuban-born Sergio has reached the highest level in futsal possible, reaching the pinnacle of the sport when he officiated the thrilling 2012 FIFA Futsal World Cup Final between Spain and Brazil.

Both Shane and Sergio will share their respective journey to the top of FIFA, as well as tips for current and aspiring officials, and will speak about the recent amendments to the FIFA Futsal Laws of the Game.
