With a 5-2 victory at home over Monterrey, Mexico, forwards Robert Renaud and Ian Bennett, defender Daniel Chamale, and goalkeeper Josh Lemos all lifted the Ron Newman Trophy.
Though it isn’t the same game as futsal, the arena league has provided professional playing opportunities for many futsal players in both the United States and Canada, allowing players to earn money in a professional environment, while staying in good physical condition and avoiding having to work full time jobs.
