Classique Moustache is another big hit
The annual Movember charity tournament in Laval wrapped up this past weekend and a classic final in the men was the icing on what was a fun weekend for everyone.
After losing last year on penalties at the semi-final stage it was Toronto Boca Futsal Club solidifying their spot as Canada’s top futsal team with a tough 3-2 win over 2013 champions FC Sparte at Laval College. It is Boca’s fifth title in the 2014 calendar year.
The women’s final featured another one goal thriller as White Socks defeated the South Shore Vendetta by the narrowest of margins with a 2-1 score.
The 50 team competition raised close to $2000 for charity and was put on by Futsal Canada members from Ligue de Futsal 5 Étoile.
