Brazil and Spain Futsal Federations Partner up in Historic Agreement

The Spanish Futsal Confederation, the Brazilian Futsal Confederation and the Spanish Football Federation have reached an agreement to promote futsal around the world.
13/12/2010 – The Spanish Futsal Conferation, the Brazilian Futsal Confederation and the Spanish Futsal Committee of the Spanish Football Federation have reached an agreement this Friday with the objective to promote futsal around the world. The agreement signature event was attended by Javier Lozano -president of the Spanish Futsal League-, Aécio Borba –president of the Brazilian Futsal Confederation- and Antonio Escribano –president of the Spanish Futsal Committee.
This agreement includes not only new sport challenges, the promotion of futsal worldwide and the creation of new official competitions, but also the implementation of audiovisuals interchanges, international regulations and the coordination of the game schedule so that both the Spanish and Brazilian leagues can be promoted. The three parts signing this agreement hope that other countries adhere this agreement.
Aécio Borba recognized that “Brazil always wanted to be allied with Spain and to promote futsal all around the world. We had some difficulties with the previous presidents, and that´s why we very happy now with Javier Lozano. A new action plan has just started so that all these objectives can be reached. We are also satisfied with the support of the Spanish Football Confederation”.
Antonio Escribano stated that this agreement “is very important not only for the Spanish and Brazilian futsal, but also for the futsal all around the world. It is foundation between two futsal references and an ambitious project as it is the starting point”.
Javier Lozano confirmed that it is “a very important day for futsal, as the promotion of futsal worldwide is our responsibility. Other associations can join this project”.
Besides Lozano appreciated the “support” of the Brazilian Confederation because “the supported this project since the very beginning. We both were looking forward to starting this project. We have to work on it now”.
