Alberta College Futsal Champions 2019

Here are the results of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference Futsal Championships as told by the always good Curtis J Phillips.

It was from 2012-to-2015 that the Keyano College Huskies kicked off against the Lakeland College Rustlers for Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Futsal Men’s supremacy.

The Huskies captured all three banners while playing in the respective gymnasiums of Olds, Keyano and Lakeland.

After a two-year hiatus, the two sides met up once again in the gold medal match… this time at the Val Matteotti Gymnasium in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Keyano are defending title holder looking for their 6th crown since 2010 while the Rustlers have showed the skills for two banners from 2010-2012.

After 50 minutes of play, it was Keyano Huskies with their seventh title behind a convincing 5-0 decision.

Gabriel Koebsch and Eduardo Filho had two goals each and Neto Miguel had one in the victory.

Goalie Julio Meirelles earned the shutout.
