2016 Bob Rathwell Memorial Tournament details

2016 Tournament Dates
Tournament dates are Saturday January 23, to Sunday January 24, 2016. Game start times will be scheduled from 8:00-20:00 Saturday and 8:00-17:30 Sunday. Special scheduling will be permitted for Out of District Teams.
Age Groups
The Tournament is open to Youth Teams registered in Age Categories between U13 and U21, Open Men’s and Open Women’s.
Classification
The Tournament is open to all Canadian Competitive and Recreational Teams currently registered with their District / Provincial Soccer Association. All teams must be registered with their district association and play in a sanctioned indoor league in the 2015/2016 season.
Format
Three games guaranteed (25 minute games), plus semis/finals.
Registration
Teams are accepted on a first come basis. Early registration is recommended. Teams not accepted into the Tournament will be notified by email by January 1st, 2016. Entry deadline is December 20th, 2015.
Registration will be done on our Registration page at https://registration.futsalottawa.com/. Team managers/coaches are to create an account for themselves and create their team and pay full price. Players can then create their own account and add themselves to your team. (Players under 18, require parents to to create an account and then add their children from the Family members section). Non Ottawa Futsal Club team require an official roster from thier disctrict which can be sent via email once payment is received.
Current OFC teams, please send an email to futsalchallenge@futsalottawa.com. We will then copy your existing team to the Bob Rathwell division and let you know when you can go and pay.
There will be a $50 charge for paper registrations.
Out of District Teams must obtain an approved Travel Permit from their home District Association authorizing the Team to participate in the Tournament. All Teams must be registered in the appropriate Tournament class to participate in the Tournament. All players must provide current and validated player registration books or District Photo ID in order to take part in the Tournament. Unregistered Players/Teams will not be permitted to participate. Teams must carry and supply proof of insurance, injury and liability while participating in the event.
Entry Fees
The entry fee is $250.
