Ontario is easily the top region for futsal in Canada and is recognized as one of the best in all of North America for its high quality and well run leagues. Here are some leagues you should definitely consider contacting if you are looking to play, coach, ref, or volunteer.
TORONTO
Toronto Futsal League
DESCRIPTION: A brand new FIFA rules league that aims to offer the best futsal competition in Ontario. The league will offer divisions from U10-Mens pending interest. The mens division is easily the best in the country and features 1 Premier Division, that will offer the best competition in the region and a 2nd Division. Each division will feature 8 teams and will offer a promotion system. There will be $5000 in champions cash prizes plus a trip for the champions to compete in the US against other league champions (mens only). The best futsal players from the former Canadian Professional Futsal League and current stars of the Canadian Soccer League will battle for futsal supremacy.
DATES: November-April 2010. Youth starts January 30th, 2010
GAMES: 16 Regular Season Games, plus playoffs. Youth 11 week program
DIVISIONS: U10, U12, U14, U16, U18, Mens 1st and 2nd divisions (open to GTA) Youth start in January, 2010
LOCATIONS: Mens 1st and 2nd Divisions: Sundays at either Seneca College (Newnham Campus) triple-gym on Sundays from 5-10pm or West Humber Collegiate on Sundays from 11am-4pm.
Youth Divisions: Starts January 30th at Earl Haig SS (Yonge/401) on Saturdays from 10am-6pm. Futsal specific training will run for the first 2-3 weeks then a 8 game league/playoff will commence.

TEAM ENTRY: Mens Premier Division: $2000, 2nd Division (open) $1300. (max 12 per team) All Inclusive: NO REF FEES, NO GYM FEES, FREE FUTSAL BALL PER TEAM + opportunities for private training clinics with national team players and opportunities for coaching and referee certification programs. 50% deposit along with registration form to secure spot.
YOUTH: All Inclusive, no gym fees, no ref fees, 1 free 2 hour futsal clinic with a national team player, team ball.
INDIVIDUALS: $200 (Premier Division), $150 (2nd Division) 16 games + playoffs for men. $80 youth (8 games and training sessions)
OTTAWA
Ottawa Carleton Futsal League
DESCRIPTION: The OCFL is the largest and oldest fusal league in Ontario. With close to 2000 registered players, the OCFL continues to work hard to establish the game in the nation's capital. Featuring divisions from the U4-adults divisions with various skill levels the league offers something for everyone. The North Ottawa Geese mens team are the current OSA Futsal Cup Champions and the Ottawa Titans were silver medalists in the womens.

Sudbury Futsal League

DIVISIONS: U9/10 boys, U11 girls, Mens and Womens
LOCATIONS: Laurentian University on Saturday and Sundays, Cambrian College on Sunday afternoons, Northeastern on Tuesday and Thursdays, and Macdonald Cartier on Friday nights.

DESCRIPTION: A new FIFA rules league based in the futsal-rich region of London that is surely going to get bigger year by year. With divisions being offered from U9-Masters the options for you and/or team are a plenty.
