The 2010/11 futsal season is a couple of months away and as such there has not yet been any confirmed tournament dates as of yet. Rest assured there will be some excellent competitions for youth and adult teams of all skill levels across the country this season and will be announced as the news comes in.

The London Canadian Futsal League has announced that it will be hosting their 2010 Challenge Cup over the March 27-28th weekend. The competition will be played on high quality hardwood futsal courts and and already have teams confirmed from both the LCFL and the Toronto Futsal League. This will be the first FIFA rules tournament in the London region in quite some time and promises to be an annual event as the sport grows tremendously in the region.
Last Updated on Tuesday, 23 February 2010 18:56The action at the Toronto Invitational Futsal Tournament has been highly entertaining so far and is sure to heat up even further when the remaining group stage matches and playoffs conclude tomorrow at the Direct Energy Centre at the Toronto International Soccer Show. The tiebreakers for playoffs are as follows:
1) Head to Head
2) Goal Differential
3) Most goals scored
4) Least accumulated fouls

The tournament is open to teams at the U14 (born in 96 or later), U16 (Born in 94 or later) and adult open divisions. There is a maximum of 8 teams per division and each team is guaranteed at least 3 games on hardwood courts.

The Ottawa Carleton Futsal League (OCFL) is once again hosting the popular Bob Rathwell Memorial Futsal Tournament over the January 15-17th weekend throughout the nation's capital. Divisions ranging from U12-U21's are invited to participate as well as womens teams.
